When I'm thrifting, I often come across so-so vintage items with fantastic label design. I guess its my graphic design background that gets me worked up over the fonts and images on clothing tags— they're a little peak at a bygone era when small menswear stores flourished and grown-ups didn't dress like children.
Here's two recent favorites that have an olde-timey tavern sign design in common. Love the hunting motif— the tag was on a destroyed wool plaid shirt.
