Maybe its from my formative years in the thin tie 80s, but I've always favored slim neckwear. Because basic department store ties are usually on the wider side (and ugly, to boot), I seem to find my best ties at thrift shops and, most of the time, they're vintage Roosters.
If you don't have the time to thrift (who does?), check out the new Rooster University range. At 2.75" wide, they're slim without being trendy and the clubs patterns are sure to get a compliment.
