I've just finished my round of jury duty, having been rejected in a selection pool, then sitting around for a day reading a book and then narrowly missing being interviewed for the Brooke Astor trial-- and yes, I did volunteer to be on that one but they turned me down.
All was not for naught, as I did get to see the interior of the photogenic 60 Centre Street courthouse. Its open to the public (as long as you get through the metal detectors), so I encourage you to have a look-see at this architectural gem.
