Its hard these days finding a bow tie that doesn't make you look like the entertainment at a children's birthday party. As a natural redhead, the potential for "clown" is something I always have to consider. My way is to avoid too much color and too much pattern.
A classic clubs embroidery always works for me, especially when it's tongue-in-cheek like this jaunty skull wearing a wool stripe scarf. Love it and I won't look like I know how to do balloon animals when I wear it.
