I'm beginning to believe that there is a secret department in the LL Bean design workshop that's exclusively dedicated to finding ways to get me to part with my cash. In this hush-hush organization, they have reviewed my customer history and seen the exorbitant amount I have already spent on every design of the classic boat 'n' tote they come up with.
So, voila, these crafty designers have unveiled a new design for the summer. Classic madras is backed with sturdy cotton canvas to create the perfect beach bag for preppy years to come.
I'll start to believe this conspiracy theory if the next boat 'n' tote is made from distressed denim-- but I'll order it anyway.
