LIP Watches
Normally, I don't like trendy watches. My friends would find that statement laughable since I have more than 20 watches, but they're all classics—Rolex Datejust, Rolex Submariner, Hermes Cape Cod, Tag Heur Monza. Not bragging, just giving examples of the ever-right looks I appreciate. You'll never find me wearing the latest bells-and-whistles style.
HOWEVER, I am totally into the new LIP watches group featured at Barney's. The styles are classic 70's modern without looking like a Diesel watch bought off a card table on the street (if you work near Herald Square, you know what I speak of). First created over 30 years ago by French designers (including the designer of the TGV trains), every watch is old-school analog (save for one digital design) and is comprised of stainless steel with leather bands, practically guaranteeing they'll grow old gracefully.
LIP watches, $299-$520
