J. Crew Fiji Patchwork Batik Short

I think its times to give the Madras plaid patchwork a rest. It pains me to say so (you'd understand if you saw my closet), but really, its enough already. They're even making patchwork plaid shoes, for criminy's sake.

I'll satisfy my patch cravings in other ways, like these great new J. Crew shorts that combine prep and tribal. A classic flatfront cut with colorful island batik prints. Like Madras, these would look great with a white buttondown and blue blazer. I'm brave enough to go there.
