I've never understood why Jeremy Scott isn't a major force in fashion. His cheeky take on wardrobe classics and pop culture always results in designs that are memorable, if not entirely wearable. Maybe he lacks the support of the fashion elite (hello, Ms. Wintour) or maybe that style passed with Moschino. Whatever, I still love it.
The folks at Longchamp must, too. For his newest range of bags, available exclusively at Colette, Scott mocks credit card culture with a giant Gold Card tote. So timely when money is all everyone talks about these days. Maybe Scott will finally get the recognition he deserves.
