IN REMEMBRANCE I got my first pair of penny loafers not because of an innate prep styling, but because Michael Jackson wore them and at the time, when I was in junior high school, he was it. Despite all the craziness of his later years, he was one of the most incredible entertainers ever. I'm in shock.
