The trade-off in being able to find so many great prep styles online is that there's practically nothing that a mass-market designer hasn't co-opted as a "reinvention of a classic." Thanks, Ralph! Thanks, Tommy!Smathers and Branson belts are a rare exception. A pair of Bowdoin College roomies decided to make a business selling the belts their mothers and girlfriends used to stitch in their spare time. Today, S&B offers a huge assortment of belt designs, including college logos and prep icons like martini glasses, skull and bones and flamingos. They're not cheap, but think of all the spare time mom is saving when you buy your belt ready-made.
