The New Classics: Engineered Garments

Share
Some of my favorite preppy items are wardrobe classics that have been reinterpreted for contemporary customers. After all, its all been done before, right? Take Engineered Garments. Everything looks familiar-- slip-on shoes, button-down shirts, khaki shorts. But they've all been tweaked and refined so that the fit is right now and the feel is totally comfortable.

It usually takes an outsider to create the "old is new again" look and EG is no exception. Designers Daiki Suzuki grew up in Japan and loved American sportswear. It's this kind of outside-looking-in reveration that spawns creativity.
