I keep hoping for a resurgence in the trend of men's fancy dress slippers. You know, like the kind that used to be worn to the opera. They're more comfortable than they look and you've got to give the Topsiders a rest sometimes.
Stubbs & Wootton make the best slippers, and now they've updated their line in more graphic designs like this crest-inspired needlepoint. Personally, I would downplaye the "dandy" aspect of the look and pair them with my most beat-up jeans and a cashmere sweater for an at-home viewing party of The Tudors. If I did that sort of thing.
