
I've never been kind to Tommy Hilfiger and frankly, he deserved every harsh word I've dealt. I would sooner wear a bathrobe to the office than wear anything his team cranked out. But with the opening of his new Fifth Avenue flagship (haven't gone yet, will report this week) and the redesign of his website, it seems change is in the air at Chez Hilfiger.
Take the Morgan Tote. Its in functional army green canvas with brown leather straps (sorta Filson) with a handy little pocket. I could see myself carrying my laptop and some magazines on the train with this. But Team Tommy needs to work on the details when it comes to e-commerce-- none of the accessories have any dimensions listed. Is this a mini-tote or a shopper? Like Tommy's previous success, it's a mystery.
