I've always subscribed to the idea that, when it comes to outerwear, you should avoid trends and spend as much money as you can afford for quality. And while I would normally avoid any Thom Browne creation like the plague, I do like this slimmer take on the classic Chesterfield coat.
Made in Italy of pure wool flannel (unlike most versions available), it's updated not only with a less boxy cut, but a kicky striped lining and genuine horn buttons. Honestly, I would kill for this jacket— and since I haven't eaten solid food in a week (the whole dental surgery thing), it wouldn't take much to provoke me.
