Don't underestimate the versatility of seersucker. I'll wear mine with khaki cutoffs and a frayed white button-down. Maybe even Topsiders if I'm feeling real showy.
But, unless you're George Will or William F. Buckley (and I'm pretty sure you're not), don't even think about wearing it as a suit or with a tie.
