The good news is that a couple of new designers have recognized the immense chasm between Old Navy and Gucci and have some well-made, good designs for you to consider. The bad news is that you need to be near a Barney's or a Bergdorf Goodman to check them out. If you are one of those coastal people, I urge you to give the collection a look.
