Pendelton Drifter Bag

Luggage is difficult. You either get cheapy-cheapo and run the risk of a wardrobe explosion on the carousel, or you have logo-mania, which is practically a neon sign saying "Steal me!" Isn't there anything that's chic, but not ostentatious, well-made but stands out from the tidal wave of black Tumi?

I love the Drifter bag from Pendelton's Chinle range, inspired by the design of Navajo blankets. The simple expandable design is just a big bag with two pockets, big enough for a long weekend and small enough for carry-on. The leather handles and wool shell will wear into what looks like a family heirloom.

  1. I see why you like this bag. it has a real "Redford" feel to it.
