Banish any thoughts of Harry Potter & Co. before you consider a genuine school scarf. Once reserved for true preps to show their school colors, wannabes like me now collect them on eBay and, when strapped with a little extra cash, from J. Press.
The wool construction is warm enough for the bleakest day but soft enough not to leave a mark. I especially like the graphic simplicity of the black and white Yale Elizabethans scarf.
